Read between the lines

You need no search at the self-help shelves to understand life and your own self, even a simple folktale can be an ultimate eye-opener if you're just willing to read between the lines .

Learn and never ever stop

Don't count the profit by the amount of money you receive or kill to receive a certificate by the end of every undertaking. Learn sincerely, generously, you will never know when you might need what

It's simple

In a materialistic world in which everyone strives and chases after money, I'd like to work for satisfaction.

Old habits die hard

The habits that we pick up at some point of time once fossilized within us won't leave us. Just like a tattoo, we take them everywhere we go, for as long as we live.

Love Thyself

Just like a good book with a well-illustrated cover, the person you are should overpower youself more than your gorgeous hair and hour-glass curves (which is the ultimate stereotype surely), and that is the real deal!

Fabric-ated Love

Like a flowy chiffon dress touched by the wind, it was a wonderful sight,
Like the sheen of Dupioni silk it brightened my days.

Like a pricy cashmere scarf, it gave the warmth I've yearned to feel,
Like a hand-loomed sweater no words could describe.

Too perfect that I called it an illusion.
So heart-warming till I gave away my doubts.

It was indeed just a vision,
of pure imperfection with zero flaws.
Or what the Universe called ,
Love .

Over-Thinking

Men and women both are guilty of one sin, the sin of over-thinking. Well 'sin' might appear like a strong word, but sorry I can understate it any other way.

Even in such hectic schedule, we still spare time to brood over things that are less significant than getting some rest or mind-relaxation. We never give our mind a break, don't we? From an argument to a  mere grey hair that we recently found, everything has a place to be cracked, mixed and baked.

Things get even worse when mr.google and magazines become loyal companions for problem-solving and cause-researching. Since when problems become so universal that random people's comments and views sweep clean dirty dishes in our lives. Don't over-think this one please, it's point blank!

The essence of life is uncertainty. Seeking assurance, finding the truth often lands you in severe mental trauma or in the hands of an annoyingly smart therapist who sits so calmly like some peculiar species who doesn't have one single goddamn problem . Can't blame them, that's what their duty calls for. Man I admire these professionals!

As interesting as it might sound to over-think, to get grasp on things we are vague about, often people end up getting answers they don't wanna obtain at the first place. Then what else? All hell breaks loose!

I've learnt this, maybe the hard way but being able to refrain from the sin made my life so much better. No pressure nor stress, no need to create something which was not there at the first place, just accumulated more time for better things and great people that I have in my life.

The next time you wanna rethink of an argument you recently had, try listening to a song from an alien language. Or a language you don't possess full comprehension. Hindi for instance, in my case. I tend to spend the entire song trying to figure the lines I got clueless about waiting for it repeat again. What happens here? Distraction!
Mission-Accomplished!

Say no to over-thinking!

Buried Treasure

People say memories are reminders of the past which stay fresh in mind. As mighty as it might sound, even memories become buried without a trace at times.

Once if star gazing reminds us of someone, now let even a star drop on our head yet nothing of the past pops out. How insignificant can some moments become?  How people who meant the world could mean nothing at a point? I can't help but wonder what are memories if not to awaken the past.

Or there's something more than meets the eye?

The human-heart is condemned for ages for it's complexity, likewise maybe memories are indeed tricky to be understood.

What it erases , what finally stays, only time will tell .

Dolly is Dead

I've known people who wake up everyday to make a mirror of their ownself. Those with strong faith of the road they travel is the answer the world is searching. If life was a test , 100 would be their score.

While they fly high in the air with trophies and medals, others are viewed as charity cases who need a sprinkle of their ideologies to not drown in the sea of wrong. Some step in with genuine desires to share and help , leave them alone for, the bunch which I would like to throw limelight on is the brain-washer who washes you into the clone of himself/herself.

As humans we need to respect each other's interests and way of lives. I do agree some nuts go overboard and need a heads up or at worse circumstances a hi-5 on the face, they are own-grave-diggers, peculiar beings.  I'm speaking of petty things-fussers. You might love red because it's the colour of passion, it's bright yada yada, then a self-hired, on-earth, walking-God comes along telling you red is ugly, good human won't like red. Black is the best he cheers, getting you a black shirt, tie or even a black nail polish. The next day you look so bright in black and act like an idiot because someone just made a puppet of you. Seriously people?

Bottom line, we can like whatever we want to like, we for sure need not share the same interest as others. Hey, we can also eat french-fries dipped in chocolate sauce and scream to the world, it's yummy!  After all even rights and wrongs have become individual-based and so subjective, why worry? Be yourself. Everything is ok if it does no harm to yourself and others around you.

Final message, watch out , you will meet brain-washers and clone-makers at some point of your life, also not to be shocked to watch your own self voluntarily succumbing to the need to mirror someone. It's your call, decide for  yourself :)

Good Night!

The Blank Page

Today I can't help but wonder, why all hellos have a goodbye. No one gets away from the moment which requires them to leave behind certain things or places, exchange the gift of memories and bid farewell for the vague idea called 'the beginning'. It's most certainly in the cards for each and every one of us, the difference though is how strong is someone's heart to accept the bittersweet truth time brings forth.

Whether you are the celebrated or you are the one to be left behind, the pain is felt in both shoes. While the heart weeps as words of comfort are exchanged, the mind plays the 'maybe' game consoling itself it's not a forever-goodbye. As the person walks away, and his/her shadow disappears, life flips to whole new chapter no one knows the end, leaving only hopes and promises to wipe the sorrow.

However, as said by many wise men, measure the worth, not the cost. Let it be a needle-prick or a bloody-wound, if it's necessarily, if it brings more good, if it's a stepping stone, send thy friend with a kind smile. In a world full of jealousy and little virtue, make a difference.

I can't guarantee a comeback, I can't tell you it's temporary, I can't assure you things won't change, but it's always going to be alright, somehow, at some point, for both parties.

It's gonna be OK

There will be a point in your life where nothing will work,

You can't go right or even turn left,

There won't be a thing you can steer nor will there be something in your hands,

When you reach that point, have faith.

A blind hope consoling you the moment will pass and there will be a brighter day waiting to greet you soon.

It costs nothing, nearly effortless I must say.

So start believing .

Storms have to pass,

Trials must have an end,

Somehow, someday :)

To L-earn

I was born and raised in a nation which hails paper-qualifications and devote reference books like bibles, leaving me not much time and space in my mind to care about something not taught in schools and do not constitute the given syllabus. But when I grew up, I begin to develop this thirst for knowledge, to learn something, outside the world of exams or any form of assessments and just be proud of it. To my own surprise, my palm read the same, I will be more interested in learning something outside my field. Well, that's according to my friend whom I should say quite an expert in that palm reading ;-)

Traveling a year or two backwards, I remember learning the classic literature by myself. I have read the works of legends like Shakespeare, Oscar Wilde, Jane Austen and of course Emily Bronte. The best part being, no exams nor scores were involved. Pure pleasure, Pure satisfaction. And the feeling you get when you finally accomplish a read is most certainly priceless. Next I got my hands dirty in my house kitchen. I learnt how to cook. From daily meals to desserts, there's something I can serve and save to be eaten. Baking then officially became my hobby. Apart from that, the passion elevated my skills to the level where I can decorate my own cake. Some accused me of getting it from my mom or any experts, the truth though speaks otherwise. They were all the result of my free-will to teach myself and learn.

Coming to my current project in pursuit of self-satisfaction, which is, learning an instrument. My dad recently gifted me a keyboard under my humble request of course. First I made up my mind to pick up on my own  by referring to online tutorials or books, but he encouraged me to take up an intensive course for 10 hours, a month so I could master the basics. The idea sounded great to me and I signed up for it. Setting aside the fact that I can now spend my holidays wisely, I also view the ability to play this musical instrument as a plus for I'm soon to be a teacher. I've so far attended 2 lessons and am very pleased with the knowledge I've gained. Can't wait to learn more.

As far my readers are concerned, I wish you all could see there's so much to learn. Don't count the profit by the amount of money you receive or kill to receive a certificate by the end of every undertaking. Learn sincerely, generously, you will never know when you might need what :)

Happy Learning!

Read between the lines

You can be like the birds that chirps in the morning and sings us a wonderful day, or you can be like the raven whose presence is feared and triggers discomfort.

However, no matter how sweetly a bird could tune, it doesn't guarantee a great start and as scary as a raven could be, it sometimes signifies no omen at all .

Simply put, the obvious is not life, that's why it's not easy.

Strengthen your vision, see through even the shadows of everything, true meanings are deciphered with efforts indeed :)
