Read between the lines

You need no search at the self-help shelves to understand life and your own self, even a simple folktale can be an ultimate eye-opener if you're just willing to read between the lines .

Learn and never ever stop

Don't count the profit by the amount of money you receive or kill to receive a certificate by the end of every undertaking. Learn sincerely, generously, you will never know when you might need what

It's simple

In a materialistic world in which everyone strives and chases after money, I'd like to work for satisfaction.

Old habits die hard

The habits that we pick up at some point of time once fossilized within us won't leave us. Just like a tattoo, we take them everywhere we go, for as long as we live.

Love Thyself

Just like a good book with a well-illustrated cover, the person you are should overpower youself more than your gorgeous hair and hour-glass curves (which is the ultimate stereotype surely), and that is the real deal!

Fighting!

Holla readers!

Just dropping by to wish all the trainee teachers luck for final examination which will be kick starting in  a few hours. Don't stress too much, read what's important, stay calm, pour everything out and go back with a triumphant smile. Remember, everything is possible with a little hard work and effort.

Good luck teachers!

OoooOwl

I remember those times I used to call my friend an owl for staying up late and here I am, another owl in the making, maybe already made. Books, notes and slides are basically playing with my life so bad apart from messing with my appearance. Some of my friends even called me a living skeleton for I look so stressed out and of course tired, perhaps slightly thinner than I used to be. Well where shall I throw the blame but my poor diet and without a tinge of doubt the arduous revising duties.

Dante,  my afro guy :p
Frankly, sometimes I do get to unwind catching a game with my friend, who's a huge football fan. Actually it kinda helps. You girls can perhaps try. Even better if you have a friend who could describe every single details about the game, players and certainly the teams. Nothing wrong in learning and experiencing new things, especially the good ones isn't it?  However, since my dear friend is a little biased and supports Bayern Munich and Germany at all times, my football facts constitute mostly about the mentioned teams. Can't deny, they are really good! And the person who does the commentator duty for me is equally good as well. Too bad I won't be able to catch the game tomorrow for my broadband is currently in the ER and also for the reason I have to do last minute readings for my 1st paper which is at 2.30pm the next day. I will demand him for the report though. After all that's what friends are for :)

Ok what else? ( BTW lately, I type pretty fast you know *impressed*)

YES I really have to apologize for my posts lately are solely about my life and not any other thing. Can't help it as it has been weeks since I last read online magazines. I wanted to write about La Mer collections and my recent online purchase but hardly found time to gather information and write something that would make sense and not digress without a point. Give me a little time, let me finish my exams, go home and you'd get to 'learn' and 'drool' via my blog. Just not now.

Whatever it is, I would like to wish everyone luck for the semester exam. Give it your best shot and welcome the 2months break with much peace and happiness. I'm going to do the same. Fingers crossed! No escape!

Already having the holiday images popping in my head. Me watching series on the couch, me  baking cookies and cakes, me annoying my dad, me reading Sherlock Holmes, me embracing my dumbbells (again!), me shopping and a lot more me-centered routines,. Can't wait! Can't wait! Can't wait!

Hang on people, 9 days to freedom!

4th attempt and accomplishments

Now that I'm here, having this canvas staring at me, I wonder why on earth am I here?

I want to write something, probably share something???

Oh hell no. All that is in my brain right now is 'Exams! Exams! Exams!'. Unless I fancy feeding you readers with the definition of multimedia and photography it would be possible but again no, that's too informative for this blog. So should I leave?

I can't still because after writing about 70 words which somewhat make sense, why should I ?

Let me think. ( ok this whole thing seems so bloody stupid !)

.................

Got it!

Since the 4th semester has ended, perhaps it would be better to reflect now rather than to wait till the exams end. After all, exams are not at all significant to be included even as memories. Better nod on that!

......................

Man, I really can't think today!

Got it.

Ok where should I start ? Yes the 'screwed and survived' chapter! You know what they say, some people are like clouds, when they disappear it's a brighter day. Exactly. Disposing those sycophants who made me sick to my stomach, is the best decision I've ever made. And that made way for many good things to reach me. God works in miraculous of ways you know.

memorable 21st
In replacement, I've found 2 great friends and I friend whom I regained after nearly 1 year. Truly great people they are and inspiring without a doubt. Assuming that I've praised them enough in my previous post, Bffs, not going to touch on it much.

Apart from the mentioned, I'm thankful for the reason, I once again did not play mediocre this semester. Convinced myself to be positive, took all the challenges course-wise, accomplished a story telling session, created a few poems, did the class presentations well and here I'm waiting for the final battle which is the semester exams. Can't wait to go back for the holidays and later welcome the brand new year!

Frankly speaking, ups and downs were there all the time. However, I pulled through quite well I should say. By letting some things to cool, by keeping my composure and by smiling at times of trouble, I managed to come stronger at the end. And I even found some time to motivate people I truly care for who finally ended up making my day even better and glossier. Did I mention I have a new hobby?? Haha details coming soon :)

Shin ee, A friend that I gained back :)
In short, the 4th semester kicked off with a storm and eventually mellowed into a smooth ride which gave way to much happiness and wisdom. Life's good and easy when your conscience is clear. Couldn't agree more. Glad that I took the right way, for I could celebrate in leisure while days wave goodbye now.

YOLO! (why the hell I said that??)

Leaving now! See you when I see you next readers. Good day :)

Snap Judgement vs Analysis

Life taught me to not draw conclusions too soon, to not jump into decisions without further analyzing the obvious. But I once read in a book, a month of rational analysis can at times be equivalent to a snap judgement made in the blink of an eye.

I've found truth in both. You can  either trust your instincts and get over an dilemma real soon or you can go days or maybe years lending too much attention to a small prick. It's circumstances-bound, it's totally up to you at some instances as well.

So why am I talking about this now?

God knows.

No.

Just making a point that, there's always a few ways of dealing with issues but often it leads to the same end somehow ( i mean the options). Ok let's say I want this Mulberry bag so damn much. I can either take days listing out the pros and cons or I can, by all means entertain my temptations and get one that moment itself. If I were to do the list, the answer would somehow be a 'yes' or a 'no' certainly, the downside though is I'd have wasted time if the decision is a green flag. On the other hand, going with my desires won't consume time yet might cost me regrets which is equally bad as losing time. So basically, we can't run away from pros and cons. Even worse, we can't guarantee  'perfect' decisions by over-analysing nor snap judgements for we wouldn't know till the consequences start to flash the results. There's no way of picking techniques and methods in life. Sometimes we just go with it, or sometimes we stop and think. Either way, you face it!

Why fear deciding then? =)

Good Day

Bffs

Nobody knows what tomorrow might bring, but I'm glad that I enjoyed yesterday and have today to be thankful for. As I look around me I see the people I've gained, wonderful people they are. Who can see through others' pain and be a shoulder to lean, who can appreciate life and be happy of what they have, who uphold good values and be aware of conscience. They taught me a lot, teaching me still. They're the reason behind my smile, the light along my path :)

I let go of rocks for diamonds, and that's certainly God's utmost miracle. As I have mentioned, tomorrow is not in my hands, I treasure the present. And I'm thankful for the life and people I have with me now. You guys are impossible to live without!

A friend in need is a friend indeed! Glad that I've found you all :)

The No-Brainers

snatch mine and i will still write !

A step- forward and a step-backward
That’s the tune the world hoofs around

A chin-up and a chin-down
That’s the culture we live about

Hands up then a 'hands-down'
That’s the hurdles we come pass

Stride on then we rot down
That’s the end of each of us.

Quick poem in 7 minutes!
