Read between the lines

You need no search at the self-help shelves to understand life and your own self, even a simple folktale can be an ultimate eye-opener if you're just willing to read between the lines .

Learn and never ever stop

Don't count the profit by the amount of money you receive or kill to receive a certificate by the end of every undertaking. Learn sincerely, generously, you will never know when you might need what

It's simple

In a materialistic world in which everyone strives and chases after money, I'd like to work for satisfaction.

Old habits die hard

The habits that we pick up at some point of time once fossilized within us won't leave us. Just like a tattoo, we take them everywhere we go, for as long as we live.

Love Thyself

Just like a good book with a well-illustrated cover, the person you are should overpower youself more than your gorgeous hair and hour-glass curves (which is the ultimate stereotype surely), and that is the real deal!

Satisfaction and Shades

In a materialistic world in which everyone strives and chases after money, I'd like to work for satisfaction. In just 3 weeks of my practicum I've spent approximately RM 200 on the rewards for the pupils and also for things used to create teaching aids. If you have read all my posts under the label of 'The teacher in me', you would find out that I once said if anyone want a cozy life out of teaching, just quit. A teacher's pay offers one  comfort and the most is a good sum of savings for a yearly vacation, unless you are serving in the interiors whereby you receive a lucrative, I consider lucrative amount in the name of allowance.

If you were to ask any senior teachers who sticks by this profession, they would say one word 'satisfaction'. Not the one you get when you see the bulge on your wallet or your fat bank balance. It is of different sort. Teachers shape individuals. While parents shape a few of theirs, teachers at school do the same to dozens and dozens of children who is of different blood, ethnicity and most certainly abilities. It isn't easy. Books only can't do the job, it takes experience, patience and sincerity.

The three weeks had been a hell of a ride. It started of with yelling and hitting the desk with the ruler, later develop into lecturing about values and finally after bonding with them, I earned the badge of 'Cool teacher' in SK Batangan. I did not physically hurt any of them. Well I believe I don't have to. There are many alternatives to class control. Deep inside I know I don't have to step on my values only to get their attention or run my lesson. Choices were plenty and I experimented many. Somewhere along the line, everything worked out , I now have their attention during my lesson. The money I've spent doesn't matter anymore to me for I've brought change in them. I've taught them something. And even more priceless is when they wait at my parking space at school for me and Ain to arrive only to stalk us to the staff room and play hide and seek-of-a-sort with both of us. Our daily-morning routine it is.

No matter what, I'm still a shopaholic, frugal shopaholic :D The other day I was shopping for a pair of shades online, for the first time apparently! Since Ray-ban is growing too common in the market , seeing every tom dick and harry wearing a pair of Ray-ban Aviator , I was looking at Marc by Marc ( since I feel it's better in terms of sunglasses compared to Marc Jacobs' collection) and of course BVLGARI including  a few other signature names best-known for shades. SO how to pick the perfect pair of sunglasses?? That will take up my next fashion-post here, after a long break!
Marc by Marc-Aviator..how I love aviator glasses!( not exactly this piece)

Good night!

Excuses and Gifts and Treasures

Things are happening so fast that i'm left with no time to pause and think, what more write?

Since excuses don't make me look good, here you go a lil updates:

My sister's birthday gift finally arrived and here it is.
Guess what? She's in love with the products and also Benefit!

that's what i'm talking about =p

Coming to my birthday gift. My sister bought for me a dress and a jacket from promod which are completely adorable and cute. For the record, I enjoyed every moment of my shopping spree with her.
promod.com

promod.com

From my dad, it's a set of Bobbi Brown facials. Toner, moisturizer and also their cleansing oil. Honestly speaking, I asked for my sister to get it for me like months ago as my birthday gift (who does that?) , therefore technically it's her gift to me. However, since I put on Amex due to their humble weekend shopping rebates, in a way it's my dad's gift too.

Apart from the dress and the facial products, my dad agreed to get me a watch from Michael Kors or Marc Jacobs, so we'll see.

Maybe this post might sound like I fancy gifts so very much, but hey, it's true. Just to an extent. I love to be pampered with gifts, only from my family members. And I feel there's nothing wrong in it as long as they can afford it. I have full rights you see =p

Being blessed with a kind sister and dad who values my happiness more than anything, I'm certainly the luckiest a girl ever!

At the end of the day though, I do have to bow and admit, gifts mean so less compared to the love and care they indulge me in.

Love,

Fab Mini M.A.C

Chanel, Gucci and Hermes are a few fashion houses that have earned their arm candies the It-bag status.  Now though, they seem to be taking a break while other American designers reign the runway with their eye-popping borsettas. As much as I want to compliment Marc Jacobs, I have to ignore for I wish not to steal the limelight from Rebecca Minkoff whose dazzling bag I’m going to torch on for this post.

You might have stolen hearts with your Chanel signature lamb-skin bag, but maybe it’s time for a fresh new departure with a little more oomph. And I suggest Rebecca Minkoff’s Mini M.A.C Wondering what M.A.C stands for? Well it’s Morning After Clutch. Even though the bag has been ruling the market for nearly 3 years, little did it run out of fame.

Some fret over the limited space the clutch has, while I consider it’s ideal to stash your must-haves in. The style-booster also comes with an adjustable chain which allows you to wear it cross-body, which, I reckon to be the best way of wearing it.

Genuine leather without a doubt and is light!

Worried about the colour choices? Don’t be,  it ranges from bold summer colours to the chic-pastels.
Best finish to your color-block outfit I should say!

Wearing a humble price tag of 600MYR for the usual leather and 900MYR+ for bubble lamb leather, this affordable arm candy can compliment your street style and party outfit better than any other .

What else? Get grabby now!

Tick tock

A few days ago when my dad reminded me of my birthday, I was the least excited about it for some stupid reasons. The main one being, I can't go back! Imagine how frustrated I'm. This situation had been recurring for 2 consequent years. And guess what? I hate it!

When my dad attempted to convince me and of course excite me with the 'what you want, I will get it for you' statement, again I had no feelings, like at all. In fact I turned the 'huge' offer down. Now though, since the mini shopaholic is back in action and all excited and shameless, I'm going to make the list! One for my dad and one for my sister =) However, since I have informed my sister exactly what I want a few months ago, maybe I can let loose on that now.

Of course I'm not going to reveal everything in the list, just going to show you the main course!
Marc by Marc Jacobs jewelry

Oh yea it's a watch.

When it comes to fashion watches, people usually give it to Michael Kors, and I'm not going to deny the designer's talent on that for I've seen some really good pieces with my own eyes. However, I tend to get a little biased when Marc Jacobs stands in the same line. You all know me!

And you might ask, why not a bag from MBMJ, oh well, I live by some principles which includes -designer bags only from my own money. Wait till I earn, get my paycheck and off to the outlet I go. Meanwhile, I'm holding my horses and living modestly with Mango and Elle arm candies.

Plus, for this time being, watch seems like a necessity compared to a bag as my phone doesn't stay with me often. Sometimes my friends borrow it to play games, take pictures or surf the net, and to spot a clock around my campus is a tough thing too (excuses come pouring). Hence, owning a watch is definitely a solution. *winks*

After reading this post without a doubt my dad is going to question the future of my new B.U.M Equipment watch which I abandoned months ago just after purchasing, so allow me to answer that short and simple. Honestly pa, that's an ugly watch. Period.

Point blank, I haven't finalized this item as my birthday gift , only a wish-list item yet to be reviewed and considered. You'll see my final choice soon.

The spritz hunt

After a year of indulgence in the notes of wild strawberries and drenching myself with the pride of a Marc Jacob's product in grip, it's finally the time to wave goodbye. My Daisy Hot Pink perfume is soon to be disposed and replaced.  Hence, this post is going to be about the journey spoilt with choices and the chosen one.

Just like shopping for clothes and shoes, I love fragrance-shopping. In actuality, I enjoy it the most for a few glaring reasons like, I need not join the fitting-room queue looking like a madwoman in a mad-rush attempting to squeeze through the mad crowd and also not wait in horror for a sales assistant to check on size availability that is sometimes already pasted on the shoe soles which some greens like me fail to notice. It's complicated you see. Perfumes are often an easy-peasy chapter. All you have to do is conduct a research in collaboration with Mr Google here, shortlist a few, try them later, narrow down again and voila, you have 'the one'. If the sales assistant is friendly enough, ask for some perfume samples ok? Many succeeded I tell you! So be a wise-spender, yet drench in a collection of various scents (even though it's just 5 1.5ml)
you know me =)

When I'm hunting for perfumes, my favorite place would be KLIA. I can give you a long list of whys but guess what? I'm too tired to type it all down. The most simple and obvious one would be, everything is there, from J.Lo to Versace, I guarantee they didn't miss a label. Not to anybody's surprise , that is where I purchased my new Eau de Toilette.

And my choice was....jeng! jeng! jeng! jeng!

Not yet.

Just to let you know, I did shortlist a few prior the, what I choose to call the ultimate 'investment'. The list included Jimmy Choo, Lola by Marc Jacobs, Lady Million by Paco Rabanne and also Bright Crystal by Versace. Why I rejected them though? That is indeed a sad thing for all the mentioned labels to digest , yet a choice had to be made and things had to be crossed. It was not a mere hearsay based decision I assure you. A lot of efforts and sniffs and spritz involved. I can't lay forth reasons for saying No to each so let me present you the ones for a few.
As you all readily known, I'm a huge fan of Marc Jacobs, however, Oh my Lola! smells too sweet and I can never stand the strong hint of vanilla in any perfumes even if it's of the designer I'm so devoted to. Sorry MJ!

Lady Million, it was so clear, the same problem but this one is TOOOOOOoooo sharp and heavy that I could faint even before reaching the next room. I love my perfumes mild, regardless of it being an Eau de Toilette or Parfum or what-so-ever! Setting that aside, one thing good about Paco Rabanne's scents is. they last long, like really-really long. Anyway, they all were sent into depression-mode this afternoon and I kinda am feeling sorry right now. Tranquilizer anyone?

Without further ado, let me reveal my perfume for the next 1 year period.

Tada!

It's Flora by Gucci- Gorgeous Gardenia. Please do not believe any slanders thrown upon my beloved perfume for having affairs with the famous bread brand, for it's not true! Hehe. To tickle your memory, Gucci launched the Garden collection just a few months ago, in May to be exact, with a huge advertising campaign. Many were pleased with the fragrances but cringed at the price placed. In Malaysia, it costs 364 MYR per 100 ml bottle. Quite pricy I should say. However, bearing red berries and pear on its top notes, the mildly sweet scent definitely impressed me in all ways the moment it faded on my wrist, and of course is worth every penny.
I got Carolina Herrera L'eau's sample!!

The sweet me signing off

Perfume guide for dummies

I'm a stickler for good perfumes. Prior picking one, I study some products first and that perhaps gives me enough knowledge and pride to write about an incident that took place during my previous semester break.

A shopaholic's routine, as you all can predict is shopping of course.  I went shopping that fine day as well. Usual look-see and stuffs. Suddenly I had this thought of sampling perfumes since my TH Dreaming which I use when I'm home is going to dry up any time soon.

Well I went to the perfume counter and requested to test the top selling perfume which hit the market some time ago, Burberry body. The sales representative looked at me as if I said some alien word. Then after repeating it twice with British and Malaysian accent, she comprehended. She took the perfume and sprayed in on the usual test blotter. Guess what? She soaked the paper. That's not how you do it. The right way should be to spray twice a few centimeters away from the sheet and let the customer test it by smelling from the opposite side. She didn't bother or perhaps didn't know.

Just for the record, the scent was not even as fabulous as anything mentioned . Burberry body= dish washer.

Since I apparently expressed my dislike in an universal language to my sister publicly, the rep decided to convince me into trying some other labels. Wait, before she even begin, with all her concern she asked me a question, 'what smell you looking for?' Exactly this! I told her it's something citrusy and there she was, frozen!

Let me tell you ladies, there are only 4 type of scents when it comes to our perfumes. It's not 'feminine', 'fun' or 'sexy'. Wrong words! The 4 are: floral, citrusy (or fresh) , fruity, and vanilla.

Only 4 basic ones to remember. Is it that hard?

(I'm also aware that some prefer to use 'strong' and 'mild' but that's pretty hard to narrow down. )

Without a doubt, the person who is at the counter to assist customers should of course have this basic knowledge but it's more like a sorry sight lately in some places. Happily though, when we say fresh nearly all sales reps gets it. Easy uh? Oh ya it is, since you can spray anything and call it fresh. People won't know. Cheaters! Most sales representatives or promoters especially in small cities do not have much clue about the perfumes they have at their counters. Trust me!

All they know is the art of soaking and coffee bean for rescue.

I seriously feel that the girl at the counter shouldn't have asked me that golden question as my clear answer gave zero help in finding the fragrance of my preference. What to do? It's all luck.

Honestly I have no intention or personal grudge to bad mouth the naive sales rep but merely emphasizing the fact that one should know the best or at least the important details about what he or she is representing . In order to sell, you must assist right? So why not learn?
I specially love hypnotic poison n dior addict 2

Perhaps I should have taken a few moments to show my mother of India attitude and educate her, but time constrain you see. Next time ok?

BTW who said reading fashion magazines and blogs make one a dumb doll?

Well, as for my new perfume, I bought it from the duty free outlet in KLIA for 180MYR. 5 different Christian Dior perfumes in a box, each of 5 ml and guess what? Blimey, it's worth every penny!

Me, frugal? Seriously....

Why didn't I buy a new bag?

5 people asked me today! Can you believe it? 5??? I certainly went speechless. Then I asked myself once again, WHY? Yes I asked in Caps.

ok, this is more like a dream =p
The truth being, even I don't know. I used to come back after every holiday donning a new bag like it's a fashion staple not to be missed.  What happened to that norm, Renuka?
Well, I saw a few of my taste in ELLE, Mango and Charles&Keith but something stopped me from settling with one. As I walked out of each store, I found my mind scuffling with my heart yet I didn't give a 2nd thought.

How can I be so frugal? Like, since when?

To be brutally honest though, I'm regretting the decision made. I so need a new bag and of course shoes. Why on earth I spent all the 3 shopping trips looking for nice dresses and blouses? Come on, who does that? There's no balance at all!

How I wish I could trade my Somerset Bay dress for that orange Mango handbag or the exquisite Charles & Keith arm candies (yes, it's plural ).  Hey just out of curiosity, don't you guys think Charles & Keith handbags totally mirror the designs of luxury labels like Givenchy, Marc Jacobs and Mulberry?
their version of Mulberry =p
Gotcha! But since this Singaporean brand wears a humble price tag, it's totally a catch.

Now that I'm frustrated and haunted by a tremendous retail remorse, let me cheer up with some "NET-A-PORTER time". Ciao!

Once a frugal shopper and fully regretting it,

Stacking and My Birkin Dream

Well I was browsing thru my Facebook I came across this. I just can't exactly describe what my feelings were like but honestly they weren't at all stable.

Oh if you think it's because I can't get one, sorry babe you're sure to be wrong. Of course I'm all allowed to get a Gucci or Givenchy. Or perhaps more like a Prada to be realistic. (Gucci and Givenchy would make my next three generations feed on potatoes and bananas.) The truth is I was driven furious!

To be more clear, I hate to see good bags stacked up like they are fruits and vegetables at the market. Some respect please! Promotions makes even the best bags look ugly, so why bother doing it with big names. My heart drops and repositions and then throbs real bad seeing exquisite bags treated equivalent to a grocery item. And that somehow act as total turn off which doesn't allow a second look at those degraded arm candies.

Why take away their reputation in the name of promotion? Why stack like an idiot? Why oh why people?

Place them where they belong! On the shelves, under the lights.

The ad certainly speaks great luxury and designer brands like Burberry and my favorite Kate Spade, prickly though, if the presentation of these bags are a mess, people will just be able to cringe at the price tag and not awe the details of the fashion buy. I hope they would find a way to do it right.

But whatever it is, I'm not going nor purchasing anything at the mentioned event. Come on, I'm looking for my first luxury bag and that's not going to be one hand picked from a promotion! Not happening. Yes I do sound like a complete vain pot, yet it doesn't matter. I'm not settling for anything less than perfect when it comes to my arm candy. So for now, Mango would do.

Let's just wait and see what's my meant-to-be first luxury label.

But if you were to ask me, I would like a Birkin. In all different colours. Red, orange, green, yellow. I would perfectly match them according to my shoes. Classic and totally classy! Then,I would add Birkin as my middle name. People can call me Renuka Birkin Gunasekaran or RB. Totally cool! And I would be the one and only girl to own a Hermes birkin in the huge state of Terengganu and get married to a Datuk and eventually become a datin.

Big time dream....but you will never know :-p

P.S Reporting a slight twist in the plan. A hermes birkin bag costs nearly 10 000 MYR, so I have decided to not get my hands on it till the one fine day 'Datuk' comes along on a shiny silvery horse and takes me to the fashion kingdom for a shopping spree on my birthday.
Which is also equally impossible!
Oh my Birkin..

The Louboutin-Wand

So what if your dear prince charming arrives a decade late? And who cares if your pumpkin coach can't fit you no more?

You can still have your sparkly glass slippers this summer!
Though it's not freshly delivered by a quirky fairy godmother who tunes 'Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo' while twisting and turning her magic wand or, umm Marc Jacobs (remember his glass slippers for Spring? ), Christian Louboutin is luring you to his fashion house for a treat of your lifetime in conjunction with the rerelease of Disney's famed-fairytale Cinderella.

Something is brewing girls, better get your 'mojo cards' ready!

The designer recently told Women's Wear Daily, “I have been so lucky to have crossed paths with Cinderella, an icon who is so emblematic to the shoe world as well as the dream world." Totally!

Speaking about fairytales, I'm sure you all ponder what could be the 'magic touch' on this pair.
That's a no-brainer IN-deed!

Perhaps a fairyland needs a magic wand's assistance but when it's Louboutins we are talking about, what else could it be but their signature red soles!
Stunner!
Who needs sparkles for a shoe so bold and bright....and sexy? ;-)

Looks like fairytales are about to get real this summer, I wonder whether it's an investment or a real pinch that could break hearts.

Red-soled glass slippers, anyone?

A Lagerfeld Game

Hello!

A good news is knocking doors of all the budget fashionistas and calculative Divas out there.

Something is brewing ladies; get yourselves ready to be served.

Fashion is a big-ticket possession they say; I bet they haven’t heard this one just yet.

It’s an ultimate dream of every girl to be wrapped around the creation of this fashion whiz. Who doesn’t recognize the 79 years old mysterious-stern-man of the industry who flaunts white hair and a pair of shades like a craved possession?

"My thing is to work more than the others to show them how useless they are."

That’s Karl Lagerfeld.

Looks like the victory and fame on the runways every season isn’t enough to set him handcuffed from another venture in this forever-evolving industry. We sure know something’s cooking but that’s not in Chanel or the Italian Fashion House Fendi.

Rumours has it that Karl is about to reign another line of his own, officially on the 25th January 2012. While the preview is gaining tremendous number of hits on  net-a-porter, which girl wouldn’t kill to know more?

Just like Michael by Michael Kors and Marc by Marc Jacobs , Karl is the baby project of the mentioned designer which sells its' fashion pieces at a price assumed affordable to nearly-all devotees out there. FYI prices range from $95 to $450.

According to ELLE Jan 2012 issue, the biker jacket is going to be the hotcake to be sold out in hours time this February. We will see about that!

love! love!
Well to speak about the design, it looks rather futuristic and bold compared to his usual stylishly elegant pieces of Chanel.

Bags and shoes?
That’s still all hugger-mugger.
So, while we keep our fingers-crossed waiting for the launch, why not take a sneak peak?
To dip thy fingers into fresh start in this industry takes more than just courage, and I dare bet 79 isn’t a big hurdle for this legendary icon of fashion. I wish K.Lagerfeld and Net-a-Porter luck!

Ladies,
I once heard love can spring at unlikely of places, but in this case it rather looks like luxury goods can spring at unlikely of prices!

Sophie Kinsella and love or vice versa...

Hello everyone! I'm back.

It's pretty hard isn't it to maintain a blog like a museum?

I know I know.

Now that I'm finally here after sacrificing many important tv series to dust it , nothing seems to provoke the words out. I'm so helpless peeps...( the 3 dots that's always a difference maker)

...( yes again)

Ok fine! Miss shopaholic here have decided to metaphorically yank about love ( long time no touch this subject.)

A note by the author: Written in a Very-close-to-my-heart setting. Trust me ..( you can't separate my bond with'em stores and malls and yada yada =))

Love ( to not confuse the public, the word here signifies the one that nicholas sparks often narrates about).

Fine, one more take.

Love,

It's just like being lured into a store by the all spruced up mannequins that desperately seeks an awe from every passerby. Behind those polished windows, everything beams like your next possession soon to turn many allies into the green eyed monsters. The heart turns heavy rejecting all moves but harder it pounds glancing over the staple pieces that induces the itch to spend.

At that perfect moment without a doubt, a voice within soars,
Who wouldn't want that?

A question that indeed winks right at your magic cards, making the coveted sheen and silk of its own scent all yours as soon as you drop a sign.

Awwwww....(caught up by deja vu)

The priceless glow and smile on your face turns impeccable even beating that of Marc Jacob's signature doodle-Miss Marc,  paints a prime portrait to be forever reminisced. The proud owner it clamours ! (hmmm...let me have a moment)

..............

However ( *tearing*),
Little did anyone know, when the store lights are ripped off, the glamour of cost overthrows that of the mistaken worth.

Briefly ;
In love, admiration followed by possession still leads down to the renowned question, 'Is this worth?'

So, what do you think?
Is it a false equation or a fake emotion? * flustered*

That's it!
Hmm it's very non literal isn't it?

Well I just want you guys to tickle your brains a little. Long holidays uh?

Good luck with that pals. Anyway to not upset any party, I'm assuring that this issue doesn't relate to everyone's situation. I know there are true lovers out there who are indeed treasures that need to multiply ( to save the world) and pursued after :D

Ps I'm kinda attempting to be Jr.Sophie Kinsella here, I need support... Or help... Or nothing...

(Damn! I love'em 3 dots!)

Good day!

Finally of his

Strawberry is the fruit I love the most and Marc Jacobs is the designer that amazed me in all ways. What if I get to combine them both ?

What if it comes in a bottle?

Not a dream but just a small introduction to my new perfume Daisy Hot Pink by Marc Jacobs .

The perfume has a strong hint of wild strawberry and jasmine that awes and lures me into buying this creation of the fashion coveted designer.

I think you guys already know that there is another perfume in the name of Daisy by Marc Jacobs since it is famously known for its impeccable effect on women’s spirit and of course their ‘sniffers’. But now, let me explain the difference between the mentioned and mine.

Both smells pretty much the same but their concentrations differ. Daisy by Marc Jacobs is Eau de toilette while Daisy Hot Pink By Marc Jacobs is labelled as Eau de Parfum. For your information, perfumes that are classified under Eau de toilette are lighter in concentration compared to those of Eau de Parfum. Therefore, Daisy Hot Pink By Marc Jacobs lingers longer than Marc Jacobs’  previous release Daisy.

Well about the price, Daisy Hot Pink is 345 MYR per 100ml bottle while Daisy is slightly cheaper by 23 MYR only.

Lucky for me, the purchase came with a free shower gel  which winks a hefty 165MYR without the promotion. BINGO!

I think this is the most expensive and expansive buy I made during my shopping spree in Pavilion.

p/s The Christmas decorations are simply superb, particularly  the cake!

Makeup Primer; A beauty Essential

A support system is deemed essential for even tables and chairs. The only reason for us to have a sturdy physique is also the support system of ours that comprises of 206 bones which forestall us from sinking to the ground and mingle with’em worms and leeches.

Just like the aforementioned, even a  support system in makeup do exist.  However, it is neglected by many who are busy condemning the right foundation and concealers for not being able sustain the magic for a long time apart from bringing their flaws to the limelight. The underrated system is what called as the makeup primer!

The primer you pick up to support the layers of makeup soon to be placed can be a life saver if the right choice were made. It assists in smoothing your skin tone, crucial at keeping oil at bay, reduces the appearance of facial scars while making even an inexpensive makeup buys last all night long. Even the encounters with usual makeup faux pas like noticeable pores and redness can be avoided without much strain and excessive application of foundation just with a simple step after moisturizing.

Not to prime is indeed a crime!!
Ladies, it's about time to stop suffocating your skin with layers of base and get a primer for a long lasting close-to-perfection makeup.

Assuming that I’ve converted many into a primer believer, let me introduce you to my primer;

Its by Revlon. If you think RM 63 is too pricy for a cosmetic product, I assure the buy  a great investment for sticklers of perfection!

BTW, I bought Estee Lauder’s Holiday Collection which is in collaboration with Michael Kors the famous designer who has more than what it takes to create a femme fatale bag ( not as great as MJ yet, admirable). The set includes a face palette, Pure Color lipstick and gloss and an eye liner and two brushes – one is a face brush and the other is an eye shadow brush. Not to forget the classy cosmetic bag by the legend which comes in silver, platinum and gold.

It costs me RM 200 and since I was made aware that at normal price the combo alarms a hefty RM 500, I took the deal. Having always admired Estee Lauder’s mojo armed cosmetics in videos of Beauty Genius by Marie Claire, I’m looking forward to try these stuffs out real soon.

Those Lips, These nails

Do colours scare you off?
terrified?
 No? Join the bandwagon!

I don’t take yes for an answer here but since you inssists perhaps you are just plain old for a little glam =p

how i honor his designs....
If you think fall is for boring people who hoofs around in nude Victorian boots and monochrome pleated skirts, I bet you are SO wrong. I don't know, maybe a copy of Glamour got out of reach! Or perhaps your momentary fashion eyes just deceived so badly .

Be careful what you strip off from your closet girls, because neon colours and jewel tones shouldn’t go astray yet!

Speaking about colours, the old couple is making a debut on the runways once again after the heart-shattering love they feasted during summer/spring 2011 under fashion houses like Dior and Marc By Marc Jacobs. (Hey have you girls heard that? About Marc Jacobs the soon-to-be Creative Director of Dior? How great does that sound!!! ) Still vague about the pair? Let me break the suspense through a picture!
more colours, less words..it makes a statement!
Did i just turn you girls google-eyed with this combo of Pink lips, Orange nails?? Isn’t this the sweetest pair ever?? Trust me nobody wants to go out looking like a candy jar by donning jewel toned dresses and a pink-orange combo as an additional flavour. But the truth being, nothing can sound as OLD and lame as the statement made. Come on, what are you? A hag in her 70s who fancies up according to the colour of her hair? I don’t wanna hear that please.

Point Blank, this trend has the potential to look incredible on virtually anyone who dares to try! A pink lip-stick with the shade that compliments your skin colour (pastel ones are highly recommended) and of course the suitable orange hue for those delicate nails and you hop on honey!

Nina Ricci Fall 2011 collection certainly flashed in glory for having devoted this trend on their runways. Some pictures for you:
Peach-pink lips!! gorgeous =D
Look sweet on those long delicate fingers..
MY favorite!!! she looks so amazing!! *Awe-struck*

Yummy uh?? Call it a Delilah’s asset, color-blocking in action, candy shop inspired or whatever preferred! But don't deny the love.

You are crushing on a colour combo babe, there is no time obsess! Just an ownership to be considered =)
